Dark Phoenix can eat stars and destroy galaxies. The X-Men must stop her, once and for all, but can Scott Summers deliver the final blow?

Nightcrawler and Storm successfully convince the Shi'ar to let the X-Men handle the Phoenix. As the X-Men battle the Phoenix pointlessly, Emma realizes that the best way is to take the Phoenix in herself. So she merges with the Phoenix and the rest of the X-Men pushes her into the chamber.
